1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Golala Technology website, customer account, digital products, software licences, downloads, support services and ConnectCard services. Golala Technology is operated by Golala Limited.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, protect your login details and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our failure to apply reasonable security.
3. Products, services and orders
Product descriptions, prices, licence limits, support periods, subscription terms and delivery information are shown before checkout. An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and we make the applicable product, licence, subscription or service available. We may reject or cancel an order where there is an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, legal restriction or technical inability to supply.
4. Digital delivery and licences
Digital products are supplied through secure downloads and, where applicable, licence keys. Your licence is limited to the licence type and activation allowance purchased. You must not resell, share, publish, reverse engineer, bypass licensing controls or distribute a product except where the applicable licence expressly permits it.
5. ConnectCard subscriptions
ConnectCard plans may include limits on cards, templates, analytics, branding and subscription duration. Trial access ends at the stated time. When a trial or paid subscription expires, QR scanning, public profiles or premium features may be restricted until renewed. Monthly and yearly plans may renew at the displayed renewal price. Lifetime plans apply to the purchased service tier for the operational life of that service and do not guarantee that every future feature will be included.
6. Payments, prices and taxes
Payments are processed using the payment method selected at checkout. Prices, discounts, handling fees and applicable taxes are shown before payment. Introductory discounts apply only for the stated period. Unless expressly stated, discounts do not apply to lifetime plans.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Your cancellation and refund rights depend on the product or service purchased and applicable consumer law. For immediately supplied digital content, you may be asked to consent to delivery beginning during a cancellation period and acknowledge that cancellation rights may be affected once supply begins. Contact support promptly where a product is defective, inaccessible or materially different from its description.
8. Support and updates
Support and update periods are limited to the period stated with the product or plan. We may provide security, compatibility and feature updates. You are responsible for maintaining backups and checking compatibility before installing updates.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use the website or services unlawfully; upload malicious content; impersonate another person; infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; interfere with service operation; attempt unauthorised access; misuse QR profiles; send spam; or use the service for fraudulent, harmful or deceptive activity.
10. Intellectual property
The website, software, designs, branding and service materials are owned by Golala Limited or its licensors. Purchasing a product or subscription grants only the rights expressly stated in the relevant licence or plan.
11. Availability and changes
We aim to provide reliable services but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, security incidents, provider outages and events outside reasonable control may affect access. We may make reasonable changes to improve security, comply with law or maintain service operation.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of data or business interruption arising from misuse, incompatible third-party systems or matters outside our reasonable control. Any limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, material breach, security risk, fraud, unlawful use or conduct that harms the service or others. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. The courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes.
