Golala Social Share is a professional WordPress plugin for automatically publishing website content to connected social-media accounts and giving visitors a simple way to share posts.

The plugin combines two separate sharing systems:

• A professional visitor-facing Share dropdown • Automatic social-media publishing through authorised professional accounts

STANDARD SHARE DROPDOWN

Display one clean Share button within your WordPress posts. When a visitor selects it, a dropdown presents the sharing services enabled by the administrator.

Standard placement options include:

• Top of post • Bottom of post • Top and bottom of post

Administrators can customise the sharing heading, select the supported post types and choose which services appear inside the dropdown.

FLOATING SHARE DROPDOWN

The Floating option keeps one compact Share button visible while visitors scroll through a post.

Administrators can:

• Position it on the left or right • Adjust its vertical position • Control its size • Hide it on smaller screens • Configure the mobile breakpoint • Select the services displayed inside the dropdown

VISITOR SHARING SERVICES

The Standard and Floating Share dropdowns support:

• Facebook • X • LinkedIn • WhatsApp • Email

Instagram does not provide a normal visitor-facing web-sharing link. Instagram publishing is therefore handled separately through the Auto Share Post system.

AUTO SHARE POST

Golala Social Share can automatically publish new WordPress posts to supported professional social-media accounts.

The website administrator connects the organisation’s accounts once from the WordPress administration dashboard. After connection, authorised editors can publish to approved destinations without repeatedly signing in or accessing social-media credentials.

Automatic publishing supports:

• Facebook Business and Brand Pages • Instagram Business and Creator accounts • Supported LinkedIn accounts

Facebook personal profiles and Instagram personal accounts are not supported for automatic publishing.

POST-LEVEL CONTROLS

A Golala Social Share panel appears on the WordPress post-editing page. Authorised editors can:

• Enable or disable automatic sharing • Select connected social-media destinations • Enter a custom social caption • Publish the WordPress post and social posts together • Manually share or reshare an existing post

If no custom caption is entered, the plugin can use the WordPress post title and link.

ADMINISTRATOR CONNECTION MANAGEMENT

Administrators can view every connected social-media account from one dashboard.

Available controls include:

• Connect an account • Test a connection • Reconnect an account • Disconnect an account • Review the account name and type • Identify connections requiring attention

Social-media passwords are never displayed to editors.

SHARING HISTORY AND RETRIES

Golala Social Share records publishing activity, including successful posts, failed attempts, destination accounts, dates and returned errors.

Temporary publishing failures can be retried automatically. Administrators can review the sharing history without exposing confidential access credentials.

SECURE BY DESIGN

The plugin uses official social-media authorisation procedures, encrypted access-token storage, WordPress permissions, security nonces and administrator-controlled connections.

Editors only receive the publishing controls they need. They cannot view saved access tokens, application secrets or administrator login information.

INSTAGRAM FEATURED IMAGES

Publishing to Instagram requires a featured image available through a public HTTPS address. A suitable featured image should be added to the WordPress post before it is published to Instagram.

LICENSING AND UPDATES

Golala Social Share supports Golala Technology licence activation, licence validation, protected update delivery, manual update checking and optional automatic updates.

An active licence provides access to approved plugin updates, compatibility improvements and technical support. The basic publishing function will not suddenly stop working merely because a licence expires.
